The Lobster Pot Cottage

The Lobster Pot is a wonderful, newly renovated chalet cottage with sea views, in Seaview. Just a short walk to several renowned and award winning beaches such as Priory Bay, Seagrove Bay, Seaview Beach, The Duver and Bembridge Beach. The beaches are predominantly made of golden sands with some rocks dotted around the shore, and the waters in the bay are usually very clear.

Lounge

Accommodation at the Lobster Pot comprises 3 Bedrooms. 1 King Double, 1 Twin, and One Bunk plus Cot. The cottage can sleep 4 adults and 2 children in the bunk room (top bunk is for children aged 6+, bottom for 3+) and 1 baby/toddler in the travel cot provided. The King and Bunk room are situated upstairs alongside a Bathroom with over bath shower. The twin is downstairs alongside the shower room and separate downstairs toilet.

Master Bedroom

There are laundry facilities at the property (washing machine and tumble dryer).

You will find discrete stair gates, Stokke high chair, travel cot and a plethora of child related activities, toys, books and traditional family games hidden away in drawers and special trunks for little ones to discover with delight. All bookings also receive a complimentary crabbing bucket and line for each child over 4+years. You will find treasure in the child’s bedside table treasure chest.

Games

The house also has Buckets and Spades, and many fun outdoor activity kits to enjoy, including Beach Cricket set, Giant Pick up Sticks, Tennis Rackets and Balls and Mini Golf.

There is a beach buggy available by prior request which seats 2 children aged 2yrs-4yrs; perfect for journeys back from a long day at the beach.

Kitchen

Outside there is off street parking for 3 cars, and the garden is enclosed with views across farm land, including the Famous Priory Bay Horses and Riding School who rest and drink in the field at the back during the high season. There is an outside dining table on a new decked area which seats up to 12, with a large sun umbrella, and barbeque. There are sea views through the house from the decked area. The Garden is South West facing, creating a perfect wind free sun trap, and sunset watching in the evenings. If you prefer to eat out you can book a table at the Priory Bay Hotel, which is a 5 minute walk away, or at the many restaurants and eateries in Seaview village a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive away.

Owned, maintained and loved by David and Frankie Gray, this cottage has been renovated paying particular attention to the needs of families with young children.
